My Book
They muted my voice so I wrote all words,
The weight of the truth, their illusion, disturbs,
Expression in language, my freedom campaign,
Liquid stars on my tongue, like crystal champagne.
Words poured in pain, like the tracks of my tears,
In corners where screams live and nobody hears
Faced with a battle of invisible force
No choice but to shed words of light to its source.
A whisper once hidden in the palm of my hand,
Breaks out from the silence to make its demand.
I drew the map to my own destination
I wrote all the words, to this book, my creation.
